I can get back to my hectic life. This past week/weekend my office and I have been spreading around a little left over holiday cheer in the form of the flu. Ugh! and we are not back to full strength yet. But this was actually a good thing for me, I was able to relax and catch up on my sewing. I was able to complete the quilt using my charm pack and jellyroll, and then I found some fabric that was just Christmas light bulbs…It turned out so cute. I will post a picture I soon I as take one. Which you can let is not that often.
The weekend before last, we did a major move of furniture in the house. We moved our large tv and reclining couch downstairs and moved the tv and couch that were in the living room upstairs to the game room. I was amazed at how much extra space there was upstairs and we are slowly moving all the boys toys into that room. Josh is building the train table and hopefully it will be done in the next two weeks. It is nice to sit up there and let the boys play without feeling like they are on top of you.
This past weekend, Aiden figured out lala, dada, mama; but they are not really words to us just more jibber-jabber and it especially comes out when he is mad. It was pretty funny, because when Josh left Thursday, he was not doing any talking and by Sat. you could tell what he was saying. Lately, he has been working on his climbing up to stand using the furniture. He really likes the leapfrog table that plays music, he will stand at it and shake his leg or bounce up and down. Also, in the past couple of weeks, Aiden has mastered the sippy cup and NO MORE BOTTLES (happy dance). He is eating solids like a champ (even with only two teeth) with 3 meals and an after nap snack. He is definitely a food lover, anything that looks like food or could possibly be food goes straight to his mouth and he gets ticked if you are eating and he is not. So far, I don’t think there is a food he does not like. When Jonah was this age, I had a hard time getting him to eat anything with meat in it, not Aiden.
